Camp Cheerio, Monday of 2G

Hey all! It was a scorcher today in Glade Valley! Armed with sunscreen and plenty of water, campers got to venture to their first day of activites, from canoeing on the lake, to riding our camp horses, to making crafts in the craft shack! Campers enjoying free swim at the pool were grateful for the oppurtunity to cool off.

After having sandwiches and lemonade for lunch, we continued our afternoon with more activites, before going back to our cabins for a special hour of cabin time. We had delicious tacos for dinner, then played a variety of games in an intense battle with porch-mates called Porchmate Showdown! We passed water balloons, played relay-race connect four, and had a hulu-hoop competition!

We had a devotion at Vespers about overcoming adversity, then headed off to bed to get ready for another long day of fun in the sun!
