Camp Cheerio, Monday of 3G

We had beautiful cool weather up on the mountain today! It was perfect conditions for our campers to take in the beauty of camp while squeezing as much fun as possible into the day! Campers got to attend the first round of activities they signed up for, some of them cooling off in the lake by jumping off the rope swing or kayaking on the water, while others stayed inside and did crafts, or ran out in the sun, playing games like soccer or field hockey.

We had tacos and churros for dinner tonight, then had cabins face off against their porchmates in a series of wacky games during Porchmate Showdown! Lots of fun was had by all, and even moreso during “Store”, a time when campers can chose a drink and a treat and dance in the field! We ended the day on a positive note, excited for our campers to try new things tomorrow!
