Camp Cheerio, Friday of 1C

Good day from Camp Cheerio! Today was our final full day of the 1C session. After a pancake breakfast, we played a camp-wide game of Predator-Prey. After that, we had a burger cookout, followed by an extra-long rest period, then an extra-exciting time for the campers: two hours of open activities! The slip and slide down camp’s biggest hill and the leap of faith at high ropes were some popular activities during this time.

Following the day of fun, we prepared for the campers signed up for performing arts classes to show what they’d learned to the whole camp! Talented campers from cheer/tumble, guitar, chorus, drama, and dance gave it their all tonight and impressed all of us with their skills. After performances concluded, everyone walked down to the lake for the camp’s closing ceremony.

We’re going to miss our campers tomorrow! It’s been an amazing session!
