Camp Cheerio, Monday of 4G

Happy Fourth of July! We started the day by sleeping in a little, then returned to our daily activities. Simply Living classes began to host their highly-anticipated parties, such as one where campers made their own ice cream, as well as a party celebrating one of our most celebrated staff members, Gar! We had chicken patties for lunch, and the honor cabins for today were Powhatan and Hattaras.

As the day concluded, we had our last day of Tillies, which came with the big reveal! Everyone got to meet their gift givees and givers, and smiles were shared all around. Following that, we gathered in a gym for a patriotic dance! The campers jumped around and sang until the sun went down. Here’s hoping we have another great day tomorrow!
