Camp Cheerio, Saturday of 2C

Cheerio, everyone! Today was another hot day on the mountaintop, but that didn’t stop us from having an awesome day! We started off with some delicious chicken biscuits and grits! The campers then headed out for their first few activities! Since it was such a hot day a lot of us decided to jump in the lake or pool! For lunch we had an extra special meal! We had corndogs, mac n’ cheese, and wings! Afterwards, we headed off for rest period to recharge for the afternoon.

The heat didn’t stop us from getting outside and playing soccer, pickleball, and more! We went to cabin time where the last year camper girls spent time with our youngest girl cabins! They had so much fun and met so many new friends! After dinner we all went off to the evening program, Movie Night! Some campers watched The LEGO Movie while others enjoyed Despicable Me! We ended the night with a beautiful sunset!
