Camp Cheerio, Sunday of 2C

It was another great day on the mountain top! Today was full of fun from start to finish. This morning we had a wonderful church service presented by our CITs. After church, we broke into our teams for Olympics and did some planning for the afternoon’s festivities. We then had a delicious lunch of fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and cobbler! We had a nice extended rest period to prep for the Olympic activities. The Olympics were exciting from start to finish. Despite several lead changes and close competition, the green team won the title! To celebrate, we had a delicious cookout where we listened to all sorts of Christmas tunes to prep for tonight’s evening program, the camp dance: Christmas in July theme! The dance was full of fun and Christmas spirit! We all danced our hearts out and had a blast.

Today was certainly an awesome day on the mountaintop!
