HAPPY SESSION 3!!! HAPPY OPENING DAY!!! HAPPY SUNSHINE!!!
We are so excited for another wonderful week of campers - especially with the sun out! Campers arrived, met their counselors, and got moved in this afternoon.
Dinner was our typical first night cookout - burgers, hotdogs, and all the fixins.
At dinner, we announced our first night evening program of DUCK HUNT! Campers ran around camp with their counselors and cabinmates, finding over 300 rubber ducks and 10 large ducks. The Pint Mountain cabin won, with a total of 192 ducks collected. WOW!
After Duck Hunt, we had store - where every campers gets their choice of candy/ice cream and a drink. We danced, played frisbee, gaga, and just talked with our new best friends for a bit.
Our night ended with opening ceremony at vespers. Our counselors and staff talked about the virtues we hold dear here at camp. These are friendship, joy, faith, respect, integrity, and humility.
Super excited for a fun-filled week with this bunch of campers!!!!
