Friday 6/16/23

Happy Friday! We are so sad that this week has come to an end, but we didnt let that stop of from having a great day today! The morning started out with french toast and fruit for breakfast. During the morning annoucemnts, Spider Man came down from the ceiling! He said he came to Cheerio to help save the day, and annouced our Morning Program- Predator Prey! Every cabin spent the morning with their team running around camp trying to get as many food, water and shelter points as possible without being captured by the snakes or spiders! It was so fun to see everyone in their team colors. For lunch we had a cookout outside with burgers, watermelon, and of course some fun music to dance too. Congrats to our honor cabins of the week, Hatteras and Cheyenne! We all took a little break during extended rest period then were right back out for open activties in the afternoon. For dinner we had serloin and mashed potatoes and listened to a lovely performance from our Senior Counselors. After dinner everyone met in the gym for our dance, cheer, chorus, guitar, and drama performances. Our campers have been working so hard all week and it was so fun to see them up on stage! Finally, we finished the night with our Closing Ceremony and a wonderful slide show of pictures from the week. We had such a fun week and cant wait to see everyone again next summer!
