Thursday 3G 6/22/23

Its hard to imagine a better day than today! We started off the morning with cinnamon rolls and cereal before heading back to our cabins to work together during Cabin Cleanup. To stay dry from the rain, we took a break from our normal actvities and spent the morning playing games against our porchmates in our Morning Program- Porchmate Showdown! It was so fun to see all the campers compete and cheer each other on. Lunch was a camp favorite, corndogs and mac and cheese. The honor cabins of the day were Navajo, Apache, Cheyenne, Blackfoot, Arapahoe, and Choctaw. After a little rest period in our cabins, we all met again in the gym for a camp dance! The theme was Out Of This World and it was complete with balloons, streamers, hanging planets, a photobooth, and even two DJs! For dinner we had chicken alfredo and got excited for our evening program, Skit Night! The cabins performed funny skits for the camp and we all had a great time. We closed the night with a special Vespers service put on by our last year campers. They spoke about how important camp is to them and how the friendships they formed here will last a life time. We will certainly miss them as campers but can’t wait to see them return as CITs!
