Hello from Cheerio! Today was another fun day filled with great sunny weather! We enjoyed french toast and fruit for breakfast! After morning activities and many fish being caught at the lake we headed to lunch for delicious mac and cheese, wings, and corndogs. After lunch, it was announced that Powhatan was the Honor Cabin for the day! The camp then enjoyed a peaceful rest period before heading to evening activities and cabin time. During this time half of C.R.E.W (our last year campers) got to participate in being a CITIT where they got to experience a little bit of what it is like being a Counselor in Training here at Cheerio! We then headed to dinner for fajitas and guacamole! Then we had two counselors have a Jenga competition in preparation for the night’s evening program… Porchmate Showdown (this is where cabins go head to head in various games with their porchmates)! We had a lot of laughs and fun competition to end the night! Happy to report on another great day at Cheerio!
