3G Sunday 06/16/24

Opening day of 3G was a blast! After spending some time getting to know our cabin mates and jumping in the pool for the swim test, all our campers and counselors dressed in their wackiest outfits and headed to the lawn for cookout! We enjoyed hotdogs and lemonade, and had a blast dancing to our favorite music with our cabins! After cookout, we met in the gym for our evening program: Counselor Hunt. Each cabin searched all around camp for their missing counselors and raced to see who could find the most. Our Cheyenne and Choctaw cabins were our winners of Counselor Hunt. Every night we meet back up again in the gym for Store, a time when campers can get a treat, hang out with their friends, and relax after a busy day of camp.To close out our first day on the mountain, the senior counselors put on a wonderful Opening Ceremony for us, and then everyone headed back to their cabin to get some rest for the busy week ahead of us. We can’t wait to see what tomorrow has in store!
