1C Sunday 07/07/24

Opening day of 1C was a blast! We sure didn’t let a little bit of rain get in our way. After spending some time getting to know our cabin mates and jumping in the pool for the swim test, all our campers and counselors dressed in their wackiest outfits and headed to the lawn for a cook out! We enjoyed hotdogs, lemonade, and danced to some awesome music. After cook out, we met in the gym for our evening program- Counselor Hunt. Each cabin searched all around camp for their missing counselors and raced to see who could find the most. Our Pawnee and Mohican cabins were our winners of Counselor Hunt. Every night we meet back up again in the gym for Store, a time when campers can get a treat, hang out with their friends, and relax after a busy day of camp. The senior counselors put on a wonderful Opening Ceremony for us, and then everyone headed back to their cabin to get some rest for the busy week ahead of us. We can’t wait to see what tomorrow has in store!
