Session six at Cheerio on the New River began with intense games of gaga ball, with the pit almost overflowing with campers who were eager to jump in. While they knocked the ball at each other’s feet, other campers sent volleyballs soaring through the air and tetherballs around the pole as they waited for dinner and the evening activity, Duck Hunt.

At dinner, campers talked about the activities they looked forward to the most this week. One camper named Ryan said he was looking forward to being on the river the most and the water activities, specifically snorkeling and boating. Another, Patrick, said he was most excited for the canoe trip on Wednesday. There were many more campers who said they cannot wait to beat the heat with the river activities this week.
