Vespers Area

At Camp Cheerio, we are committed to helping all campers develop a healthy mind, body, and spirit.

The Vespers Area is an outdoor chapel where we host our Opening Ceremony. On the first night of each session, the Senior Counselors challenge all campers to practice and strengthen their Christian values including patience, love, faith, humility, and others.

Each night, we gather at the Vesper Area while an older cabin shares a story with a meaningful message with the rest of Camp. This time allows campers to reflect on their day and take in the stunning wilderness that surrounds them.
